General Dynamics and CrowdStrike collaborate to beef up threat intelligence

General Dynamics Fidelis Cybersecurity has collaborated with CrowdStrike to enable consumers with access to shared threat intelligence and enhance the prevention, detection, attribution and remediation of cyber-attacks in real-time.

As part of the collaboration, Fidelis XPS consumers will automatically be offered with detailed information from the CrowdStrike Intelligence Exchange that assists in attributing malicious activity to particular threat actors.

Powered by Fidelis XPS, the intelligence is then implemented in real-time on the network across present and past network traffic data snapped up through Fidelis Collector.

Further, the partnership allows consumers to request in-depth data about particular threat actors, such as behaviour patterns, type of information targeted and affiliations with other attacks.

General Dynamics Fidelis Cybersecurity Solutions president Peter George said: "In the war against malicious actors, threat intelligence is a key weapon in a strong defence.

Complementing the General Dynamics Fidelis’ threat research team’s proprietary threat intelligence, integrated YARA policies and other industry joint ventures, the data from the CrowdStrike Intelligence Exchange offers Fidelis XPS consumers with wider range of threat intelligence.
