CACI to support US Navy personnel and pay systems modernisation

CACI International has been awarded a contract by the US Navy to continue offering upgrades to US Navy personnel and pay systems.

As one of the three awardees for the three-year $31m IDIQ contract, CACI will be tasked with offering business processing reengineering (BPR), requirements analysis, as well as offer enterprise architecture support for the Bureau of Naval Personnel (BUPERS) personnel and pay systems.

CACI chief operating officer and US Operations president John Mengucci said the company’s team supporting the Bureau of Naval Personnel has done an assisted in meeting Navy’s personnel and pay modernisation goals.

"CACI’s ongoing BUPERS work is critical to positioning us to support other agencies in the human resources area," Mengucci added.

BUPERS, which acts as the HR department of the Navy Personnel Command, offers administrative leadership, policy planning, and general oversight.

Services offered by CACI under the contract also include will analysing and designing workflow and organisational processes to enhance quality, time management, and cost, and ultimately supporting the effort to transform the Navy’s Active and Reserve Military personnel and pay service delivery environment.
