Elbit to deliver Wise Intelligence Technology system for country in Africa

Elbit Systems has received a $40m contract from an undisclosed country in Africa to supply the Wise Intelligence Technology (WiT) system within two years to support intelligence analysis and cyber defence.

Commenting on the system, Elbit Systems Land and C4I general manager Yehuda (Udi) Vered said that the system was already field-proven, fully operational and customisable.

Vered expects that the latest contract to draw additional customers to select the system as their preferred solution.

Designed to support every stage of the intelligence process starting from planning to direction, WiT is a highly advanced end-to-end solution that can collect the data from multiple sources, databases and sensors, as well as process the information.

Featuring a flexible and modular architecture, the system also supports intelligence personnel in analysis and evaluation of the information and disseminating intelligence to the intended recipient.

WiT can be integrated with various data sources such as Elbit Systems’ Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) solution and an advance solution for covert intelligence gathering, Elbit Systems’ PC Surveillance Systems (PSS).

Equipped with sophisticated security mechanisms, the system can protect data and information sources as well as safeguard against internal and external threats.

The system is also capable of processing unstructured and structured data, to generate a fully integrated situational awareness picture for users.
