Radio Tactics, a leading developer of high-tech digital intelligence and evidence gathering equipment for mobile device forensics used by military and law enforcement organisations worldwide has launched the ACESO E-Learning resource to augment the established practical, face-to-face product training and provide an enhanced blended learning experience.
The ACESO E-Learning is hosted via the new Radio Tactics Academy portal (https://academy.radio-tactics.com) and enables customers to develop knowledge and understanding of some mobile phone examination basics prior to experiencing the hands-on practical training leading to ‘Certified Operator’ accreditation. This blended learning approach is designed to assist customers in managing their ACESO training and deployment to fit in with shift working patterns of frontline law enforcement officers. Partitioning the training in this way also allows more time during the instructor led element to cover more complex smartphone acquisitions and associated data sets.
A successful pilot of the new blended training has been delivered for Wiltshire Police with one participant commenting in their feedback that "the E-Learning course was informative and gave good background information which allowed the ACESO training course to be much more practical which was very useful".
Radio Tactics’ Managing Director Andy Gill said working with City & Guilds Kineo, a leading provider of E-Learning solutions, we have created a compelling solution that will provide our customers with an even more impressive and more effective overall ACESO learning experience.
Gill said, "Augmenting our existing face to face training addresses the continuing rise in demand for self- paced E-Learning which research has also shown can significantly increase information retention".
