HESCO Bastion, based in Charleston, South Carolina, US have been awarded the US Army Core of Engineers, indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity (IDIQ), contract for the supply of HESCO® Flood Lined units for the National Flood Fight Centre, Rock Island, Illinois, US.
The National Flood Fight Center will serve as the emergency procurement for flood response operations nationwide. Their objective; to assure that an ample supply of flood-fighting materiel is available.
HESCO earth-filled barriers offer rapid deployment, ideal for emergency protection, and have been used by the USACE since 2005 and have proven time and time again that they are the product of choice when protecting that which matters.
HESCO defensive barriers are best known for protecting soldiers from attack during deployment in conflict zones, but now the innovative product can be found protecting people’s homes and businesses around the world from seasonal flooding in Somerset, UK, to tropical storms in Thailand.
