Bell to deliver 206L-4 helicopters to Air Medical Group

Bell Helicopter has been selected by Air Medical Group (AMGH), an independent providers of helicopter air ambulance services (HAA), to deliver 20 Bell 206L-4 helicopters.

AMGH subsidiary Air Evac EMS president Seth Myers said that the new aircraft will replace the older aircraft, which are currently in service, as well as provide for growth of the service area.

Air Evac EMS, which operates Air Evac Lifeteam, performs operations through 115 mutually-supporting air medical bases across 15 states.

The dependable and reliable Bell 206L-4 helicopter has been designed to provide mission flexibility for operators, with low operating costs.

With seven place seating and more than 2,000 lbs of useful load, the multi-mission Bell 206L-4 helicopter features large cabin windows and wrap-around windows for pilots to enhance visibility for difficult scene landings.

Capable of supporting transportation, law enforcement and firefighting missions, the Bell 206L4 also features a high-inertia two-bladed rotor system as well as Nodal Beam suspension system for reduced vibration.
