Kratos wins critical infrastructure security contract

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions’ Public Safety & Security (PSS) Division has been selected to deploy specialised security and surveillance related products, equipment, and system integration services across a large public school district located in the eastern US.

Aimed to protect certain of country’s critical infrastructure, Kratos’ PSS business designs, engineers, deploys and integrates into command and control infrastructure sophisticated security and surveillance systems.

Kratos’ PSS Division president Ben Goodwin said, "Continuing to support our nation’s school systems is extremely important to our entire organization, and we appreciate the confidence our customers have expressed in our capabilities to support their security requirements."

Separately, Kratos Defense & Security Solutions’ Kratos Modular Systems (MS) division has been awarded approximately $5m in new missile and radar system contract awards.

Under the new contract awards, Kratos will design, engineer, manufacture and deliver specialised systems and equipment, with all work being performed at secure Kratos manufacturing facilities.

Kratos’ MS Division provides specialised products, systems and solutions in support of certain US National Security programmes and initiatives.

The programmes and initiatives include missile and radar systems, unmanned aerial systems, command and control systems, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems, electro magnetic rail gun and combat systems.

Kratos MS division president Tom Mills said, "Our entire organization is proud to support these very important customers and these critical National Security programs."
