Thales to showcase CYBELS and TEOPAD security solutions

Thales is showcasing its advanced cybersecurity solution, CYBer Expertise for Leading Security (CYBELS), at the Security and Defence Technologies International Exhibition (HOMSEC), scheduled to be held from 12-15 March.

The company has designed CYBELS security solution for communications, maritime security and protection for armed forces in conventional scenarios such as land, sea and air.

Designed to protect critical information and communication systems against cyber threats, the modular and flexible solution will enable users to anticipate, prevent and respond to attacks.

Capable of protecting information and communication systems of administrations and government bodies, CYBELS also enables State security forces and organisations to efficiently combat cyber crime and cyber terrorism.

Additionally, the solution can also be used by police, government agencies and critical infrastructure operators need to combat cyber-attacks suing various services such as supervision of information systems through a cybersecurity operations centre.

Thales España Business Development Defence, Aeronautics and Security director José Sarnito said that the solution uses CYBELS View tool to facilitate decision-making in the event of an computer attack.

"The main purpose of CYBELS is to detect attack as early as possible and provide reactive plans," Sarnito added.

Thales is also displaying its TEOPAD security solution, designed to provide secure implementation environment for business applications while ensuring sensitive data protection, storage and transfer.

Developed for smartphones and tablets, TEOPAD will address all the security and productivity issues associated with mobile devices.
