US HLS awards follow-on support contract to ManTech

ManTech has been awarded a contract by the US Department of Homeland Security (HLS) to provide program management and technical support to the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Field Operations, Non Intrusive Inspection (NII) Division.

Under the firm-fixed-price contract, which follows a previous award, ManTech will provide management and technical support for the CBP NII Division.

For three years, the company has delivered program management, technical support, and subject matter expert services to CBP field personnel across NII’s systems life cycle.

ManTech’s Emerging Markets Group president and chief operating officer Terry M. Ryan said, "We are pleased to continue protecting the nation’s borders and facilitating the transition of advanced technologies."

The largest component within the CBP, the Office of Field Operations is responsible to provide security while expediting trade and travel at the US border at ports of entry.

ManTech provides command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) lifecycle support; cyber security; global logistics support; intelligence/counter-intelligence support; information technology (IT) modernisation and sustainment; systems engineering; and test and evaluation.

The recent contract has one-year period of performance with four option years and is valued more than $9m if all options are exercised.
