Barco unveils new F50 projector for training and simulation market

Barco has introduced F50, the most compact 120Hz WQXGA projector, for the training and simulation market.

The new rugged, compact F50 projector has been designed to provide increased brightness, higher resolution (WQXGA – 2560×1600) and high frame rates (120Hz) to a wide range of applications in the training and simulation market such as compact domes and cockpit simulators.

In addition to meeting and exceeding the quality standards of the discerning customers in the training and simulation market, the F50 DLP projector offers high resolution and high frame rates to display the most highly detailed images, at the fast speed needed for simulator content.

The F50 features smear reduction technology, 3D Active Stereo, wide focus depth and an unmatched optical performance needed for training and simulation market.

Equipped with advanced optical locking systems, the F50 training simulation projector ensures flawless image quality and stability and can also be used on motion platform installations.

The F50 compact projector will be showcased at the Interservice/Industry Training Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) scheduled to be held from 2-5 December 2013 in Orlando, Florida, US.
