Kratos receives unmanned aerial drone programme contract

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions has been awarded a contract by a US National Security related customer to support a certain unmanned aerial drone programme.

Under the $4.5m contract, Kratos’ Advanced Drone and Targets Solutions Division (ADTS) will support unmanned aerial drone programme for the US National Security related customer.

Kratos ADTS Division President Wayne Armstrong said, "Kratos’ ADTS Division is a premier provider of high performance Unmanned Drone Aircraft and these systems’ related avionics, electronics, command and control systems, solutions, services and logistics, and we look forward to supporting this customer’s mission and requirements."

Work under the contract will be carried out at a company’s manufacturing and operations facility.

Separately, Kratos Integral Systems International received a contract to provide satellite operations for an un disclosed international customer.

Under the contract, Kratos will implement a satellite command and control (C2) system for international satellite platform.
Based on EPOCH Integrated Product Suite (IPS), the company will also design, develop, install and commission prime and redundant control centres.

The EPOCH IPS is a hardware-independent, database-driven, open architecture satellite fleet management system designed to control an array of satellites with minimal personnel.
