Lockheed updates ASM software to boost critical infrastructure cyber security

Lockheed Martin has rolled out the updated Industrial Defender Automation Systems Manager (ASM) platform that deals with cyber security, compliance and change management requirements for industrial control systems (ICS).

The updated Industrial Defender ASM offers improved situational awareness to the enterprise while virtually eliminating the manual processes needed to secure global critical infrastructure and improve operational effectiveness.

The latest Industrial Defender ASM version comes with new features including FleetView; Work Automation Suite; Improved substation cyber security; and Enhancements to policy management.

Lockheed Martin Industrial Defender Solutions president and CEO Brian Ahern said uptime and reliability remain the number one priorities for critical infrastructure providers.

"Our vision with Industrial Defender ASM was to unify cybersecurity, compliance and change management applications onto a single platform; breaking down data silos and automating the tedious manual tasks security professionals face on a daily basis," Ahern added.
